Prepositions
A preposition links nouns, pronouns and phrases to other words in a sentence.
The name “preposition” (pre + position) means “place before”. Prepositions
usually come before another word, usually a noun or noun phrase:
- noun
- pronoun
- noun phrase
- gerund (verb in -ing form)
Examples:
- The book is on the table.
- The book is beside the table.
- I will see you on Monday.

Some prepositions are composed of more than one word, which is called complex prepositions, some of them are as follows-

Prepositions are grammatical words that are fixed in number क्योंकि grammatical words वो words है जो संख्या में निश्चित होते है तथा जो grammar का निर्माण करते है, जिनके बिना Grammar अधूरी है इसके विपरीत vocabulary words होते है जिनकी संख्या निश्चित नहीं होती है तथा परिवर्तित होती रहती है जैसे noun, verb, adjective, adverb.

Correct: They are not allowed to enter the house.
