Correct: The university was founded in 1943.
Explanation:- The above sentence shows passive form, इसलिए verb की third form का use होगा अब चूँकि found, find की third form है जिसका अर्थ ‘पाना’ होता है जबकि वाक्य का हिंदी अर्थ ये निकलता है- University वर्ष 1943 में स्थापित की गयी थी.
स्थापना की अंग्रेजी found होती है जिसकी third form founded होती है, जो इस वाक्य का सही अर्थ प्रकट करती है, इसलिए ऐसी अनेको verbs है जो confuse करती है तथा exam में बहुत से questions ऐसी verbs पर आधारित होते है, इस प्रकार की verbs को e-book में with examples समझाया गया है

The verb tell is followed by an indirect object without to.
Incorrect: She told that she wouldn’t come.

Incorrect: I am ill for two weeks.
Correct: I have been ill for two weeks.

The verb, suggest should be used with a gerund or a that-clause. It cannot be used with a to-infinitive.

The verbs discuss, describe, order and request are transitive verbs. They should be followed by direct objects and not prepositions.
Incorrect: I am wanting to be a pilot
